CF Moto 675NK World Premiere Test Ride

CF Moto 675NK World Premiere Test Ride

CF Moto has officially unveiled the 675NK Naked, and we had the exclusive opportunity to test it during its world premiere in Portugal. Built on the foundation of a sport motorcycle, this new naked version inherits the performance DNA of its racing sibling and it shows.

Design & Build Quality

The front fender stands out immediately. It’s designed not just for aesthetics, but also with an aerodynamic touch, pressing the bike down during heavy braking. The headlight is a familiar design from the CF Moto family, but here it has evolved into a more serious, stylish form. Once the ignition is turned on, the LEDs illuminate with a striking, modern look. The low and high beams are integrated into the main headlight block, giving the bike a sharp, aggressive appearance.

The side plastic panels aren’t just decorative overlays, they’re structural elements. Even when grabbing the bike by the rear tail section, the construction feels rock-solid. Nothing creaks or flexes unnecessarily. The turn signals and overall paint scheme (especially the gray variant) contribute to a clean, polished finish.

Built on a Racing Platform

The CF Moto 675NK uses a sports motorcycle base, which gives it an aggressive character even in naked form. While full track testing wasn’t permitted due to the lack of fairings, the bike was tested on a go-kart circuit and it surprised with its agility and responsiveness.

Ergonomics & Rider Position

The ergonomics suit urban riders or those who enjoy spirited city rides. The seating position is slightly forward-leaning, with footrests lower than a traditional sportbike, and slightly reconfigured for everyday comfort. The rider triangle – handlebars, seat, and footpegs – feels natural. At 175 cm tall, the bars could be a bit closer for complete comfort, perhaps something closer to a supermoto setup. Still, the existing configuration is highly rideable and accommodating.

The dashboard is identical to that of CF Moto’s sportbike lineup. It includes detailed information such as tire pressure, tire temperature, gear indicator, and smartphone connectivity. A USB port is available (albeit placed a bit awkwardly under the plastic), and with the CFMOTO app, riders can sync maps and ride data directly to the display.

Seat & Tank Shape

The seat is moderately narrow, which eliminates the need to spread your legs wide. The rear of the fuel tank is also narrow, allowing for flexible seating positions, whether you want to sit forward for a sporty ride or lean back for comfort. On the track, the design allows you to shift your weight easily, even get your knee down, or ride in a more upright stance. Despite the versatility, the CF Moto 675NK confidently leans all the way to the footpegs, providing solid feedback and control even at low speeds and in lower gears.

Engine: Three-Cylinder Power

CF Moto 675NK Engine: Three-Cylinder Power

Under the hood, the CF Moto 675NK is powered by a three-cylinder engine, a choice that strikes a balance between the torque-rich feel of a twin and the high-revving punch of a four-cylinder. It’s smoother, more linear, and surprisingly torquey. There’s a distinct sense of mature power delivery – no harshness, just clean torque across the rev range.

You can roll through a corner in third or even fourth gear, and the bike will pull smoothly from low RPMs. No detonation, no parasitic vibrations, just clean power. The torque curve is flat, delivering a seamless ride whether you’re attacking a corner or cruising in the city.

Braking System

Brakes are a critical component for any serious rider, and here, CF Moto 675NK doesn’t disappoint. The 675NK features 300mm discs, reinforced brake hoses, and strong calipers, providing precise feedback and excellent stopping power. The system is so responsive that one-finger braking is more than enough.

During testing, the brakes brought the bike to a full stop just before the limit. The emergency lights automatically activated during hard braking, alerting other riders and drivers. The front stays loaded, the rear almost lifts, and yet the bike remains stable and composed.

Suspension & Handling

The suspension was slightly tuned by the organizers for the test event, but only minor adjustments were made. The adjustable front fork handled the tight turns of the go-kart circuit effortlessly. Unlike other test sessions that require tools and detailed tuning, this bike came ready to ride, and it performed superbly right out of the box.

Handling is precise and intuitive. The 675NK doesn’t demand effort to turn, it leans in naturally. Whether you’re braking, leaning, or accelerating, the transition is smooth and controlled. The traction control is adjustable, and when the gas is opened aggressively, the system supports rather than interferes.

City and Track Versatility

The straight handlebar and upright riding position make the 675NK ideal for city commuting, light touring, or even a casual evening ride. It’s not just a fun weekend machine, it’s an everyday motorcycle. It’s perfect for both solo riders and passengers, and offers the flexibility to switch between urban commuting and track fun without compromise.

Power Output

The 675cc three-cylinder engine produces close to 90 horsepower, with about 70 Nm of torque at 8,000 RPM (figures may vary by market). It’s not designed to blast past 250 km/h, but it delivers elastic performance, responsive acceleration, and engaging character. In second gear, it surges forward with real enthusiasm. This isn’t just another commuter bike, it’s a machine with spirit.

In Conclusion

Conclusion of CF Moto 675NK

The CF Moto 675NK is a pleasant surprise: a Chinese-built motorcycle that holds its own on the track and proves reliable and fun in the city. Despite the lack of wind protection, it shines with excellent rideability, braking, handling, and engine smoothness.

With its balance of performance and practicality, the 675NK is well-positioned as a daily rider that can handle weekend getaways and track sessions alike. CF Moto has clearly paid attention to both engineering and rider experience, delivering a machine that’s more than just another naked bike.
